Hemmerle Onyx Intaglio, Brass and Gold Signet Ring

Centering on a circular shaped onyx intaglio carved with a crest including sheaves of wheat, a helmet and a skull and cross bones, bezel set in a sculpted brass and white gold mounting, circa 2018. This ring is part of the Hidden Treasures collection and celebrates Hemmerle’s 125th anniversary.  Hemmerle delved into the cellars of its Munich atelier to discover a treasure trove of embossing stamps within its rich archive once used to make various medals. 10 bold one-off pieces draw inspiration from the shapes and forms found, transforming them into contemporary works.
